Tulips: If your love is eternal and undying, then your boutonnire or garland must be enamored with fresh tulips. One of the most beautiful of all flowers are tulips, which when bloom completely induce beauty in every element present around.
The meanings of the white rose in myths and legends are aplenty. According to Greek mythology, all roses were originally white in color. It then magically developed in other colors, tones, and hues. When Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love and Beauty, was pricked by its thorn, her blooded dripped on the white petals, turning them red. When a beautiful maid kissed it lovingly, it blushed, and turned pink. Hence, these myths and legends point towards the loss of innocence. As a result, this white variety stands for innocence and purity.
Dahlia: Dahlias grow up to six feet in height, and they bloom into huge blossoms. Dahlia bulbs need to be planted in soil that is well drained; they grow indoors as well. Dahlias should be planted in the shade during late fall so that you can see full blooms in early spring.
When it comes to watering, roses do best if they have enough water, which means once a week a good soak especially when it is very dry, but you should check the soil's moisture content and if the case water twice a week. However, it you allow the soil to dry (for seven days or so), the rose will be encouraged to develop new roots looking for water and it won't be lazy! When applying water, you need to know that it has to be put on the soil around the rose bush and not on the leaves, if you water the leaves in the evening, the moisture can cause powdery mildew and your plant will then be infected.
